Caitlin Brady (Choreographer)
Born and raised in New York, Caitlin Brady has been a dance instructor for ten years, most recently teaching Jazz, Contemporary, and Hip Hop at Hudson Dance and Tumble Center in Montrose, NY. Caitlin has choreographed pieces for competitions and community performances including the 2014 Business Council of Westchester's Dancing with the Rising Stars event to benefit the Food Bank for Westchester . Her latest choreography was featured in the 2015 Miss Delaware Pageant. Caitlin has the vision to fuse different genres of dance to create choreography that inspires her dancers to perform outside the box. She was incredibly happy to be a part of A Piece of KAKE, KAKE DANCE's premiere show and looks forward to more collarborations with the company.
Abigail Brenker (Videographer/Director)
Abby Brenker graduated from Hofstra University with a double major in English/Creative Writing and Film. Since graduation she has worked in the film distribution and digital video space. In her free time she works on her creative passions including dance film, horror writing and photography. She has had successful blogs as well as a youtube channel where she explores various forms of artistry. Some of her work has been shown recently in Boundless in Brooklyn as well as the Ready Freddy's Series hosted by The CREATOR'S COLLECTIVE. Philip Eslick (Videographer/Director)
Philip Eslick is a freelance filmmaker and Long Island native. His passion for film was cultivated at a young age and has been influential in all that he does. Since graduating from Hofstra University with a B.S in Film Television & Video, he has worked for several networks including NBC, Showtime, and is currently employed at HBO. His excitement to work with this marvelous company knows no bounds.
Julie Seal (Dancer)
Julie Seal is a freelance dance artist based in Brooklyn, NY. She began her training at the American Ballet Studio under the artistic direction of Kathleen Kairns- Scholz. Julie attended Hofstra University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A in dance and a minor in psychology. While attending university, she had the opportunity of working with choreographers including Doug Varone, Nathan Trice, Bebe Miller, Niles Ford, and Giada Ferrone. Upon relocating to “The Big Apple,” Julie has had the opportunity of performing works by Mark Dendy, The MoveShop, Urban Dance Collective, Indah Walsh and Robin Becker. Julie is currently dancing with Suzanne Beahrs Dance, Erica Essner Performance Co-Op and Megan Boscom and Dancers. Currently you can also find Julie as a performer in The Grand Paradise by Third Rail Projects.
Caitlin Sheppard (Dancer)
Caitlin Sheppard grew up in Grayslake, IL, a northern suburb of Chicago. She trained in a pre-professional youth company under the direction of Chicagoans Eddy Ocampo and Richard Smith. In Summer 2010 she was one of eighteen chosen to be a scholarship student with Gus Giordano Dance Chicago, a prestigious dance company in the Chicago area. She then went on to study Dance and Management at Hofstra University where she has performed works by Sean Curran, Amy Marshall, Maxine Steinman, Doug Varone, and many other choreographers from the New York area. Sheppard also is an established choreographer. While still in school, Sheppard was honored to perform in Florence Dance Festival, American College Dance Festival, and Giada Ferrone’s “The Nutcracker: A Contemporary Ballet”. After graduating, Sheppard moved to NYC where she had a job with American Ballet Theatre as a summer intensive counselor for the NYC and Orange County programs. She has also danced with Barbara Angeline, The Moveshop, and “of bones|hollye bynum”.
